CORTLAND—The Cortland YMCA’s long-running Knee-High Basketball program returns Saturday January 30, 2016 for boys and girls grades 1-4.

Knee High basketball will teach your child the basic fundamentals of basketball—a game invented by YMCA professionals!  Participants will learn the game through hands-on station work which could lead to scrimmages between the age groups.  First and Second graders will run from 9:00-10:15 a.m., with the third and fourth following from 10:30-11:30 AM.  There is a fee for the program.  Y members receive discounted rates.

Sign up now to reserve your child’s space.  Registrations, barring space available, will be accepted up to January 22.

Parents are welcome to help volunteer coach, so, if you are interested in volunteering for Knee High basketball, please contact the Y at 607-756-2893 and leave a message.
